In 2008, Autronic Reglersysteme GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, delivered several electro hydraulic actuators to its long-term customer Abu Qir Fertilizer Co., located in Alexandria, Egypt. For the retrofit project in the power station of the fertilizer plant, the actuator type Vp was selected by Abu Qir Co. Due to the high ambient temperature, possibly more than 60C, the actuators are equipped with an internal water cooling system to be connected to an external water supply. Additionally, the actuators were delivered with a fail open function with accumulator and solenoid valves and control equipment for oil pressure. The volume of the order has an estimated value of EUR 65,000.
