AVK sells DN1200 cast steel butterfly valves

AVK Australia Pty Ltd, the part of AVK group has sold its special DN1200, cast steel version of the series 756 Butterfly Valve to Vortex Group in New Zealand. The valve will be part of a refurbishment of flood destroyed hydro power stations in Samoa. The valve will operate as a main inlet valve to a small turbine and operating on a head of just 8 metres. Forthcoming inspections may also require the refurbishment and replacement of other Glenfield gate valves.
