Badger RC200 Meter control valves

Pump Engineering introduces its new Badger RC200 in AISI 316 stainless steel valve with a stainless steel actuator to resist the aggressive environment. The RC200 valve is designed for handling liquids and gases under the most arduous conditions and is available as a globe or angle pattern in either 1/4” or 1/2” sizes. It has a Cv range from 0.0000018 to 2.5 and rangeability from 50:1 to 15:1, which makes it suitable for additive injection, sampling and pH control. The valve can operate at pressures up to 5000psi and temperatures ranging from -80ºC to 500ºC. They can be supplied as standard in 316 stainless steel with stainless steel or Stellite trims, although alternative materials such as Monel, hastelloy B & C, titanium and zirconium, can also be specified. The RC200 valve can be supplied with pneumatic actuators or positioners, air-to-open or air-to-close in die cast aluminium, with 316L stainless steel as an option. Electric actuators and positioners can also be supplied if air is not available. Typical applications will occur in snack flavouring, petroleum refining, chemical processing, manufacture of synthetic fuels, and lubricants.
