Baker Hughes and Dynamis secure major 1.3GW mobile power turbine order with DT70 launch

Dynamis Power Solutions, LLC (Dynamis), a North American mobile power generation specialist, and Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, have announced a major order booked in Q3 2025 for 25 aeroderivative gas turbines—including LM2500, LM6000, and LM9000 models—totaling 1.3 GW of mobile power capacity for diverse oil & gas applications, including upstream, refining, and petrochemical operations.

Dynamis custom-packages gas turbines and generators into its mobile power solutions. Under this agreement, Dynamis will package ten of Baker Hughes’ efficient, dry low-emissions LM9000 turbines in a new offering called the DT70—a 70 MW mobile power solution—delivering 700 MW of total capacity. The DT70 achieves the highest mobile power density (MW per square foot) reported in the oil & gas industry to date.

The DT70 is designed to meet the unique and complex operational requirements of industries needing natural gas power solutions. Building on the success of Dynamis’ DT35, which boasts a 1.5 GW installed base across 1,200+ North American locations, the DT70 combines enhanced versatility for large-scale power consumers, resilience in challenging environments, and fast rig-up and commissioning times, all within a compact footprint.

Available for immediate order, the DT70 offering enables North American oil & gas customers to access reliable, clean, and high-density mobile power for a wide range of industrial applications.
