Balon introduces the Flanged Test and Tap Valve (TNT)

Balon Corporation introduces a product unique in its fifty years of innovative valve design the Balon Flanged Test and Tap™ Valve (TNT).
The isolation of flow to safety relief valves and other pressure safety equipment is a crucial field application that can be both costly and time-consuming.
Balon now offers the Flanged Test and Tap™ Valve (TNT) in flanged sizes 2″, 3″, and 4″ ANSI 150, 300, and 600. This product is available with either a ¼” or ½” ball valve and secondary ½” tap. The valve body is machined from LF2 forged steel and is equipped with 316 stainless steel ball and stem. It is suitable for low temperature and NACE service applications.
Wherever the calibration, maintenance, and testing of pressure safety equipment is required, Balon’s flanged TNT valve offers a better, simpler approach. Balon’s integrated solution to a common operations challenge saves space and reduces connections. And, by allowing the end-user to tailor the choice of the companion isolation valve to each specific service situation,
Balon’s flanged TNT valve provides unparalleled opportunities for flexibility and cost savings. The Balon flanged TNT valve provides a practical and economical approach to relief valve isolation. It allows for a compact design where space is limited. And the elimination of connections improves emissions compliance.
The flanged TNT valve may also be used wherever a conventional bleed ring is required.
In addition to pressure safety equipment isolation applications, Balon’s TNT Valve has many other applications, including Chemical injection; Sampling; Venting; Draining; Gauge point instrumentation; and Instrumentation line transition.
