Newly certified for SIL 3 applications is now bar-agturn®, a flexible pneumatic rotary actuator. The reliability of plants using these actuators has recently been certified by TÜV Rheinland.
The completely new series of the pneumatic rotary actuator bar-agturn® is equipped with many technical options as well as actuator variants with different swivel angles up to 180°. “This covers a wide range of applications in the automation of valves,” emphasizes bar. The high-quality powder-coated covers and the housing coating made of hard-coated aluminium allow the use even in aggressive environmental conditions. With 18 different sizes and torques from 2 to 13,040 Nm, the bar-agturn® has a suitable rotary actuator for every shut-off device application. The solenoid valve interface is located high on the profile and is easily accessible and optimized for the attachment of pilot valves.
