Bernard Controls has recently released its latest models of “SN” nuclear qualified actuators. With NUC OC actuator qualified for Nuclear/Outside Containment (OC) applications and NUC IC actuator qualified for Nuclear/Inside Containment (IC) applications, the company has provided actuation for key nuclear projects worldwide, and particularly in the new generation of nuclear reactors which are being built in Finland, France and China. In Olkiluoto, Finland, Bernard Controls’ actuators will play a major role in the ventilation system of the nuclear island. And in China, for Taishan EPR, the company is equipping the whole nuclear island.
