Bestobell expands in China

Bestobell is continuing its growth and expansion in the Chinese market with a major new contract to supply cryogenic valves to Zhuhai City Gas Pipeline Co. in Zhuhai City.

The contract will see Bestobell manufacturing emergency shut off valves, globe valves, pressure regulators as well as relief and check valves to the Zhuhai Qianshan LNG Storage Station, which has a capacity of 20,000Nm3 NG/H. This latest order takes the total number of Chinese storage stations using Bestobell’s valves to more than 20, helping the company to secure its position as a major supplier of cryogenic valves for land- based projects in China.

Steve Fidler, sales director for Bestobell, said: “China has been an important market for our cryogenic valves for many years. This is an exciting new contract win which is a result of our close working relationship with our agent South China Special Gas Institute Co.”

Bestobell and South China Special Gas Institute Co. have been working together for 10 years to increase the market share of cryogenic valves in China. During this time, the company has supplied cryogenic valves to hundreds of LNG filling stations all around China.
