BG Group Board Changes

BG Group has appointed Caio Koch-Weser as a Non-Executive Director effective 1 November 2010. Koch-Weser is Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank Group. From 1999 to 2005 he was German Deputy Minister of Finance whose responsibilities included international finance, European economic and financial affairs, as well as capital markets, banking and insurance. He was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of German Banking and Securities Supervisory Agency (BaFin). From 1973 to 1999, Koch-Weser was with the World Bank in Washington where he worked on Latin America, China, the Middle East and Africa and held a number of high-level positions, in particular serving as Managing Director Operations and Member of the Executive Committee. BG Group also announced that Juergen Dormann, Non-Executive Director, will retire on 31 December 2010. Dormann became a Non-Executive Director in June 2005. BG Group plc is active in more than 25 countries on five continents and has a broad portfolio of exploration and production, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), transmission and distribution and power generation business interests.
