Technip has appointed Bill Morrice as Managing Director of its UK operating center, based in Aberdeen. Bill takes over from Ron Cookson, who is taking on a senior role in the Group’s newly established Offshore Wind business. As Managing Director, Bill will be responsible for winning and executing subsea projects offshore UK, Denmark, the Netherlands and West Coast of Ireland. Bill joins Technip following a nine year tenure at subsea well intervention specialists, Helix Well Ops, part of the global Helix ESG Group. His most recent position as Global Vice President saw him responsible for Well Op’s activities in Europe, West Africa, the Americas and Asia Pacific, as well as for the company’s marine, diving and subsea well access assets. Bill will report to Knut Boe, Senior Vice President, North Sea, Canada.
