The new CA44 AS-i valve terminals from Bosch-Rexroth can accommodate any two valves from the company’s MC range, including double-solenoid 4/2-way types. This allows up to four valve functions to be implemented in a single compact assembly. No alteration is needed to the AS-i addressing when new valves are fitted. The valve terminals require a single AS-i address, allowing the AS-i system to be used to its full capacity. They are optionally available with four auxiliary digital inputs which use standard M8 plug-in connectors. Designed for easy mounting on DIN rail, CA44 valve terminals use industry-standard AS-i coupling modules which incorporate an insulation-displacement connection system. The pneumatic connections use standard PN connectors, all of which are located on the same side of the valve terminal, ensuring that the connections occupy the minimum of space. Suitable for use in automation, handling, transfer and process engineering systems of all types, Bosch Rexroth CA44 valve terminals have a service life of at least 100 million operations, and can support flow rates up to 200ltr/mn.
