Bradley adds new lead-free point of use valve

Bradley has expanded its line of point of use/source valves with the addition of the S59-4016 Series lead-free thermostatic mixing valves (TMV) to its growing Navigator® line.

In addition to being the first lead-free valves to meet the 0.25% lead content and lead-free requirements in plumbing fixtures that carry drinking water, Bradley’s Navigator valves are known for easy set-up and start-up with a single valve able to accommodate multiple fixtures. Their fewer connections and universal mounting capability reduce installation time.

The new S59-4016 Series TMV offers 1/2″ – 3/4″ connections, a 15 GPM capacity used for applications involving multiple lavatories, whirlpools or bathtubs, gang showers, and small hot water supply systems. It is ASSE 1017, 1069, 1070 and cUPC certified. It joins the S59-4000 Series 3/8″ compression valve, which has a 5.5 GPM capacity and is suited for any commercial sink application.

As with all Navigator TMV’s, the new valves are factory-assembled, third- party certified and 100% tested to ensure unparalleled performance. In addition to their lead-free brass connections, the valve bodies feature glass-filled polysulfone and internal ribbing for extra strength. A wax-filled thermostat ensures that outlet temperature remains constant.
