BSS Nabic safety valves for high temperatures

BSS Pipeline and Heating Solutions provides Nabic safety valves for harsh conditions. The Fig 500 valve has been designed primarily for use on unvented hot water heating systems, where high capacity emergency steam relief capability is required. High capacity and resilient PTFE seating also make it suitable for steam, air and inert gas applications. The max set pressure is 12.5 bar and max temperature is 195 degree centigrade.

The figure 542 safety valve is a versatile valve suitable for use on hot water, steam and air. Although designed primarily for protection of hot water boilers, it is also suitable for pump relief, bypass relief, outside installations and on cold water mains to protect from PRV failure. Featuring resilient PTFE seating design, this valve is easy to clean and inspect and tested to BS ENISO 4126-1 standards. The max set pressure is 10.5 bar and max temperature is 195 degrees centigrade.

The Fig 500T combined pressure and temperature relief valve has been designed for use on unvented hot water supply systems, where protection from excess temperature is required in addition to pressure protection. The valves automatically discharge hot water to prevent a predetermined set pressure and / or temperature being exceeded.
