Bürkert extends Element series

Bürkert has expanded its modular Element series — suitable for hygienic process measurement and control applications — to include process valves with orifice diameters of up to 50mm (DN 50) and process actuators in sizes up to 130mm.

The extended valve range can be used at higher medium pressures on pipelines with orifices up to DN 50. Included in the range are the 2100 angle-seat on/off valve, the 2101 on/off globe valve, the 2103 diaphragm valve, the 2300 modulating angle-seat valve and the 2301 modulating globe valve.

The Element series is designed for use in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and beverage and biomedical markets and can be utilised in environmentally aggressive or hygienic areas.
It is now possible to achieve greater plant standardisation by equipping many process systems with equipment entirely from the modular Element platform.

The Element valves and sensors reliably control fluids, steam, caustic solutions and chemicals, as well as abrasive or high-purity substances, in a wide range of applications and process environments.
The stainless steel valves (IP65/67) in the Element series are rugged, hygienic and easy to clean and use.
The special Element actuator design facilitates the integration of automation units at all levels of the modular valve system, from the position transmitter to the electro-pneumatic positioner or process controller; this enables the complete decentralised automation of even complex systems, with minimal expense for cables and hoses.
