The new BW/BL, from Assured Automation, is a resilient seated 125/150, ductile iron, butterfly valve, wafer style (BW) and lug style (BL) valve available with either a Buna-N or EPDM seat. Choice of three disc materials nickle plated ductile iron, bronze or 316SS are available. It can be equipped with a manual handle or with pneumatic or electric actuators. A full range of accessory items are available including limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners and manual override devices. Some features include: long neck design, one-piece body construction, one-piece shaft design, seat facing acts as flange gasket, and 3 shaft bushings support actuation. The valve also meets MSS SP-67 and API-609 specs. Actuator types include: air actuators: spring return N.C., spring return N.O., double acting; electric actuators: 120VAC and 24VDC; and manual handles: 10-position lever (2″ to 6″), geared hand wheel (8″ to 12″). Typical applications include: water treatment, waste effluent treatment plants, paper industry, sugar industry, construction industry, and the chemical process industry.
