Cameron Jiskoot’s new Technology Centre opens

A new bespoke Technology Centre in Tunbridge Wells was officially opened by the Senior Vice President and President of Valves and Measurement Group of Cameron, Jim Wright, on March 8th. Over 80 staff and customers attended.

The 20,000 square foot Jiskoot Technology Centre is a state-of-the-art, purpose- built centre of excellence for Cameron’s sampling and blending technologies and systems. It houses two of the largest cranes ever to be transported by road to the site.

Cameron made significant strategic investments into the Jiskoot brand in 2008, including the new centre, when it acquired the family-run business, now also celebrating over 50 successful years. Jiskoot known throughout the world for its specialist high performance measurement and blending systems for crude oil, condensate and LNG, in the oil, gas and process industries, recently moved with all its existing staff from their original location a few miles away in Tunbridge Wells. Due to its recent significant growth, the company is now employing more staff including apprentices.

Mark Jiskoot, General Manager of Cameron’s sampling and blending operations and son of the brand’s founder ‘Beer’ Jiskoot remarked “Lots of people have worked over many years to make our success and this new facility a reality and we thank them for their efforts and passion.”
