Canyon Engineering Products (CEP) has developed a line of manual rotary select valves which enable aircraft operators to isolate hydraulic pressure from specific systems, to permit ground maintenance of aircraft.
These manual rotary select valves are designed with dual, or multiple ports, and are qualified for aerospace hydraulic systems up to 5000 psi.
CEP’s Rudder Isolation Valve has operating pressures of 5076 psig, with 7.92 GPM flow rate at 7.25 PSID max. The lightweight housing is made of titanium and results in overall unit dry weight of 1.050 lb. When in use, the valve isolates the rudder actuator from the main hydraulic system during aircraft ground maintenance, thereby preventing movement of the aircraft rudder.
CEP‘s rudder isolation valves is designed for a 5000psi hydraulic system and isolates the rudder actuator for aircraft ground maintenance.
