MDA to provide surface movement monitoring
MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd, a global communications and information company, has announced that it has been awarded three contracts with undisclosed customers in the oil and gas sector. Statoil awards contracts for 3 North Sea Fields
Statoil is awarding contracts for Oseberg Vestflanken 2, Johan Sverdrup and Gina Krog for marine operations, marine construction, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of an unmanned wellhead platform as well as modifications at the Oseberg Field Centre.
Statoil submitted the plan for development and operation (PDO) of Oseberg Vestflanken 2 and the contract awards are subject to government approval of the PDO.
The field development will provide 110 million barrels of oil equivalent and will be profitable even in a low oil price scenario. KPMG reports on 2016 outlook flow control industry
