DeepOcean Ghana wins Tullow Ghana contract

newsitemDeepOcean Ghana, a Ghanaian company with 51% Ghanaian owned share structure, announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide the services of a Multi-Purpose Construction Vessel (MPV) to Tullow Ghana. The scope of work for the contract is inspection, survey and subsea construction on the Tullow operated deepwater Jubilee and TEN Fields offshore Ghana.

Neway’s subsea valves pass hyperbaric chamber test

newsitemTwo valve samples from Neway were submitted for the hyperbaric chamber test. With help from Laboratory No. 702 of the China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC) and Cnooc Engineering Underwater Technology (Shenzhen), both samples, a ball valve and gate valve, successfully passed the test witnessed by the China Classification Society (CCS).

Saipem awarded contract for the Kashagan field

newsitemSaipem, through its subsidiary ERSAI Caspian Contractor, has been awarded a major new Engineering & Construction contract for the Kashagan field project, located in the Kazakh waters of the Caspian Sea, valued at approximately USD 1.8B. The North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) has awarded Saipem a contract for the construction of two 95km pipelines that will connect D island in the Caspian Sea to the Karabatan onshore plant in Kazakhstan.

Nautilus Minerals awarded the order for the engines and thruster packages for the company's production support vessel to Rolls Royce Marine of Norway. The order secures the main engines, azimuth and tunnel thrusters and is the first major package to be awarded by the shipyard, Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding.
