Total Energy Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of French energy company Total, is investing in Avenisense, a French company specialized in embedded fluid property sensors.

Miniature solenoid actuated poppet valve launched
The Precision Fluidics Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, a motion and control technologies company, released its newest miniature solenoid actuated poppet valve, the Series MX – Model 7, a miniature solenoid valve that provides portable medical device manufacturers a high performing, energy efficient pneumatic on/off control valve in a compact 10mm size.
The Series MX – Model 7 miniature solenoid valve was designed to increase the battery life and reduce the size and weight of devices while improving overall functionality and performance. Power and performance where space is limited
