McDermott secures LLOG’s Otis Field contract

McDermott International has been awarded a sizeable lump sum contract by LLOG Exploration Offshore in support of LLOG’s Otis development located in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Otis field, located in Block Mississippi Canyon 79, will be developed as a subsea tieback to the Delta House floating production system (FPS) and lies in approximately 3,800ft of water.

Johan Sverdrup process & riser platforms contracts

Statoil, on behalf of the Johan Sverdrup license, has awarded the contract for decks for both the process and riser platforms to Samsung. The total contract value is approx. EUR 0.78B.

The contract is a fabrication contract (FC) of decks for the process and riser platforms.

Statoil, on behalf of the Johan Sverdrup licence, has awarded two contracts at a total value of more than EUR 490M to Odfjell Drilling for drilling wells on the Johan Sverdrup field. Odfjell Drilling has been awarded contracts both for the Deepsea Atlantic semi-submersible rig and for drilling services on the fixed drilling unit to be installed on the Johan Sverdrup field.
