Petrofac, the international oil and gas services provider, has been awarded a 36-month contract worth more than USD 970M for the gas gathering, treatment and export facilities package of the Reggane North Development Project (Reggane) located in the Reggane basin of the Algerian Sahara desert 1,500km south-west of Algiers.

Ceona rig to work in CAMAC Energy’s Oyo oilfield

Ceona, SURF contractor with heavy subsea construction capabilities, has been awarded a contract for work in the Oyo oilfield offshore Nigeria from CAMAC Energy. The Oyo Phase One Expansion Project consists of the installation and recovery of umbilical and flexible pipe as well as light subsea construction in up to 500m water depth.

Evergas orders 3 more Wärtsilä multigas carriers

Three new 27,000cbm LNG/multigas carriers for Evergas, the Denmark based transporter of petrochemical gases and natural gas liquids, are to be built. They will feature the integrated Wärtsilä solution comprising the main propulsion equipment, the gas fuel-supply system and the cargo-handling system.

Clough AMEC wins Daandine Expansion contract

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, announced that the Clough AMEC joint venture has been awarded a GBP 11M engineering, procurement, construction and management (EPCM) contract for Arrow Energy’s Daandine Expansion Project in South-East Queensland, Australia.

South Stream offshore pipeline contract for Saipem

Saipem won a new offshore Engineering & Construction contract in Azerbaijan, for a total amount of approximately USD 1.8B. BP, on behalf of the Shah Deniz consortium, awarded a transportation and installation contract for the Stage 2 development of the Shah Deniz field to the Saipem, Bos Shelf and Star Gulf consortium.

New AN fertilizer plant in Hungary

The Hungarian fertilizer manufacturer Nitrogénmüvek is extending its cooperation with ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions. A granulation plant with a capacity of 1,550 tons per day of ammonium nitrate (AN) or 1,960 tons per day of calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) is to start operation in Pétfürdö, roughly 100km south-west of Budapest, in fall 2016.

Saipem wins FPSO contracts in Angola

Saipem has been awarded two contracts in Angola by Total, worth a combined value of more than USD 4B. The main contract, worth more than USD 3B, is for the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPCI ) of two converted turret-moored FPSO units for the Kaombo Field Development Project, located in Block 32, offshore Angola.

Jacobs-HDR JV receives NAVFAC Atlantic contract

Jacobs Engineering Group’s joint venture with HDR received a single-award contract from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic to provide architecture and engineering services at various locations worldwide.

FMC Technologies wins subsea systems contract

FMC Technologies received an order from BP to supply subsea systems for its Shah Deniz Stage 2 project in the Caspian Sea. The order has an estimated value of USD 322M in revenue.

FMC Technologies' scope of supply includes subsea manifolds, associated controls and connection equipment as well as key controls and connection components for subsea production trees.
