Maersk Drilling has taken delivery of its first ultra-harsh environment jack-up, Maersk Intrepid, from the Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore on time. Maersk Intrepid will start its mobilisation to the Norwegian North Sea in approximately two weeks, where it will commence a four-year contract with Total E&P Norge AS.

KBR wins FEED contract for refinery upgrade

KBR has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract by Emirates National Oil Company Processing Company (EPCL) for the upgrade of its condensate refinery at Jebel Ali. The contract value was not disclosed.

New machining solution from Hydratight

Joint integrity specialist Hydratight added the 2250P boring bar capable of covering a range of 2.5” to 24” diameter and lengths of up to 12ft., to its range of boring bar tools.

Many of the design and performance elements of the 2250P have been inspired by the larger-capacity Hydratight 8200 series machines.
