French engineering company Technip has been awarded a subsea contract by Anglo Dutch supermajor Shell for its Prelude floating liquefied natural gas development, off Western Australia.

Qatargas, has awarded pipeline engineering company STATS Group a multi-million pound 10 year contract to provide remote pipeline isolation equipment. STATS will design, manufacture, test and supply a new range of high integrity Remote Tecno Plugs™ for 32in, 34in and 38in pipelines.

Hitachi Zosen Inova AG goes for Metso DNA

Metso has also signed an agreement with Hitachi Zosen Inova AG to supply automation for two lines at a greenfield waste-to-energy plant being built by SITA South Tyne and Wear Ltd.
