IMI plc, CCI’s parent company has acquired the Truflo Group, a specialist in valves and related flow control products for an enterprise value of USD 208 million. The Group will add Truflo Rona, Orton and Newman Hattersley Ltd to IMI’s severe service business, CCI, a provider of critical severe service control valve solutions. Truflo serves a number of niche market sectors including oil and gas, nuclear, petrochemical and marine applications. Truflo’s activities in oil and gas and power sectors complement the CCI business and Truflo’s involvement in the petrochemical and marine sectors opens up a number of new opportunities for combined business synergies.
