FAVRA, an Argentine valve manufacturer, has recently been granted the right to use the official monogram on manufactured products under the conditions specified in the official publications of the American Petroleum Institute entitled API Spec Q1 and Specification 6D. FAVRA has been manufacturing Plug, Swing Check, Dual Plate Check, Tilting-Disc Check, Piston Check, Gate, Knife Gate, Globe and Safety Relief valves since 1945, mainly for the oil & gas, petrochemical and power generation South American markets. FAVRA’s Quality System is also certified ISO 9001, and owns a cast steel foundry which is ISO 9002 certified.
