China Everbright secures deal in China

China Everbright Water Limited has recently won the bid and signed the agreement for Dalian Pulandian Waste Water Treatment Project Phase II in Liaoning Province.

Pulandian Project Phase II commands an investment of approximately RM B82 M, with a designed daily waste water treatment capacity of 30,000 m3. It will be invested in and constructed based on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. With a concession period of 20 years, the Pulandian Project Phase II is expected to complete construction and commence operation by the end of 2018. Pulandian Project Phase II will be mainly processing municipal waste water and a small amount of industrial waste water in the Pulandian District. It will adopt the AAO (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic) process plus advanced treatment techniques for waste water treatment. Discharged water after treatment will comply with the national Grade 1A standard according to the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant .

Everbright Water acquired Dalian Dongda Water Co., Ltd. in 2015, and since then, it has smoothly implemented a series of measures for the post-acquisition integration.
