CIRCOR International, Inc., a KKR portfolio company and global manufacturer of flow control products for industrial and aerospace markets, has acquired the operating assets of Flowserve Corporation’s (FLS) herringbone gear pump product line. The acquisition includes the GAX, GR, and Gearex Series pumps, which will be fully integrated into CIRCOR’s IMO product portfolio following a transition period, with no disruption to existing or future customer orders.
This acquisition fills strategic gaps in CIRCOR’s Pumps Americas offering, enhancing service to key end-markets such as chemical processing, power generation, and general industry. Engineered for durability and performance, the herringbone gear pumps feature stainless steel construction, intermittent dry-running capability, and the ability to handle high-viscosity fluids, elevated temperatures, and critical service applications.
Production of the acquired product line will transition to CIRCOR’s Columbia, KY plant in the coming months. During the transition, Flowserve will continue supporting manufacturing and order fulfillment under a transition services agreement.
