Control ball valve for gas industry

Evola Ltd introduces its rotary control ball valve, specifically designed for flow and pressure regulating duties in the gas industry. Known as “Control Ball”, the new valve provides a tight shut-off meeting ANSI Class VI for soft seated valves and ANSI Class V for metal seated valves, combined with a torturous path disc stack globe valve. The “Control Ball” offers large capacity in the fully open position whilst the tailored trim element controls noise and velocity at low flow/high Delta-P conditions, resulting in a high rangeability of over 300:1. The new valve is suitable for gas processing applications including metering stations, mainline transmission interconnectors, mainline feed gas and LNG compressor anti-surge recycling. Available in pressure ratings from ANSI Class 150 to 2500 and sizes from 2 inch to 36 inch the “Control Ball” easily fits into existing pipe configurations and can be equipped with robust control systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, gas over oil and electric. Materials of body construction encompass carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, duplex and Hastelloy.
