Control Seal B.V., located in Appingedam, the Netherlands, recently delivered a 34” FB 150LB Double Block and Bleed Valve for Société Du Pipeline Sud Européen (SPSE). The valve will be used as a pipeline isolation valve, transporting Naphtha which contains solid metal particles.
Its uniqueness lies in its stem extensions, and the fact that the valve has two different connection flanges- weld end on one side and raised face on the other side. Furthermore, 2×2” 150# RF flushing connections is attached to the valve body. Control Seal is world leader when it comes to big-size valves, approved by Aramco for unlimited size capacity. In 2020, Control Seal delivered the world’s largest DBBV ever produced in history of 48”.
