Coperion and Coperion K-Tron will present themselves as innovative system providers for the production of food and pet food at Anuga FoodTec 2015. The focus will be on a complete processing system for the production of high-quality meat substitutes. This includes a manual bag dump station and a sanitary P10 vacuum receiver for the pneumatic conveying of raw materials into a KT20 twin-screw loss-in-weight feeder, as well as a ZSK 27 Mv PLUS twin-screw extruder.
The extruder with a screw diameter of 27mm is equipped with an innovative cooling die provided by the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), designed specifically for the processing of texturized protein. Other highlights on show include the ZRD and ZXD hygienic rotary valves and the clean-in-place–compatible (CIP-compatible) and EHEDG-certified WKY diverter valve.
