Crane ChemPharma Flow Solutions promoted its new Xomox XLD series fluoropolymer lined process butterfly valve and Saunders Exelon range of diaphragms at the Valve World 2008 exhibition and conference. Xomox XLD series butterfly valves with DIN/ISO mounting capability come with an internal sealing mechanism and bearings which permits the use of smaller, energy-efficient actuators. The main product features include a one-piece, seamless body liner combined with a resilient FKM body seal ring, and a lining offering a high level of operational safety and leak protection. The lining is verified by a 20,000 Volt electrical defect detection test. The new Saunders Exelon diaphragms are designed for handling chemically aggressive slurries, often found in mining, TiO2, and phosphate-processing applications. Joining Crane ChemPharma Flow Solutions at Valve World is Crane Energy, a manufacturer of gate, ball, plug, butterfly, globe and check valves. Crane Energy Flow Solutions has also announced the appointment of their new President Vincent Buffa.
