Crane ChemPharma & Energy, a provider of highly engineered solutions for fluid handling applications worldwide, launched three new products during the 2014 Valve World Düsseldorf Conference & Expo. The Xomox®XLC, Xomox®FK and Pacific®CSV were on display for the first time, in addition to the numerous products that comprise Crane’s comprehensive valve portfolio.
Xomox®XLC fully-lined ball check valves offer economical solutions for the vast majority of chemical applications with a unique flexible seat that enables Class A and API-598 sealing, a first for lined ball check valves. Engineered to address the inherent dangers of volatile chemical applications, the Xomox®FK adheres to the industry’s most stringent standards and combats the harmful effects of temperature and pressure fluctuation. Three independent stem seals offer superior fugitive emissions control, and are certified to EPA Method-21, ISO-15848 and TA-Luft according to VDI 2440. Designed to exceed industry fugitive emissions standards with outputs as low as 20ppm, new Pacific®CSV cast steel gate, globe and check valves offer superior performance to the Oil & Gas, Power and Refining industries worldwide.
In addition to launching new products during the show, Crane distributed copies of TP410 and delivered a presentation about their latest white paper, which focuses on functional safety in the chemical process industry.
