Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation has acquired Solent & Pratt, a UK-based manufacturer of butterfly valves, to form Solent & Pratt, a division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control (UK) Ltd. Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation designs, manufactures, distributes and services valves, pumps and other flow control products.
Solent & Pratt butterfly valves are in operation in severe service conditions throughout the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, and utility industries world-wide. Sizes range from 2–88 inches with flange ratings from ANSI 150# class through ANSI 2500# class. A full range of construction materials is available and all valves can be fitted with actuators. A recent innovation is a double block and bleed, double disc seal and drain valve. Corporate headquarters for Solent & Pratt are located in Bridport, Dorset, UK, with sales offices for North America located in Brecksville, Ohio, USA.
