Danfoss unveils next-generation AxisPro proportional valve

Danfoss Power Solutions has launched the next-generation Level 1 AxisPro® valve, expanding the Vickers by Danfoss line of servo performance software-configurable proportional valves. Featuring a new digital amplifier and support for leading network protocols, the AxisPro valve delivers advanced performance, precise control, and seamless connectivity.

The launch is complemented by Pro-FX™ Configure v2, a redesigned software platform with an intuitive interface, streamlined setup, and real-time tuning for faster, easier installations. AxisPro valves are ideal for demanding industrial hydraulic applications, including presses, machine tools, factory automation, and more.

Next-generation AxisPro valves upgrade the Vickers by Danfoss KBSDG proportional valve lineup, offering a smarter, fully connected motion control solution. The digital amplifier enhances precision and system tuning, while support for protocols such as Profinet®, EtherCAT®, Ethernet/IP, and CANopen enables seamless integration. Flow linearization ensures consistent flow across all operating conditions, and dither and deadband adjustments eliminate stick-slip and dead zones for smooth, precise motion.

Designed for durability and high performance, AxisPro valves deliver best-in-class power and speed, with a pressure gain of 2.05%. They feature IP65 and IP67 ingress protection, operate in ambient temperatures up to 70°C (158°F), and offer optional corrosion and extreme vibration resistance (up to 50g), making them suitable for severe industrial environments.
