Diaphragm rocker isolation liquid valve

Parker Hannifin Corporation, the motion and control technologies specialist, released the R9 Diaphragm Rocker Isolation Liquid Valve. This family of 9mm valves improves the performance of clinical diagnostic, analytical chemistry and agent detection systems requiring precision fluid control.

At just 9mm wide, it can be easily mounted over microplates eliminating transfer lines, which improves performance and saves space. This compact valve offers the flow typical of a 16mm valve in a 9mm width. When mounted on a manifold the R9’s ultra-small footprint enables smaller and more efficient fluidic circuits by taking less space and shortening fluid channels. This valve also has low carryover and low internal volume with good particulate resistance. R9 valves are capable of a variety of flow and pressure ratings up to 100psi, supporting the use of smaller fluid passageways. This enables higher pressures thereby reducing fluid consumption and increasing throughput.

The Parker R9 is ideal for applications such as in-vitro diagnostics, haematology, molecular diagnostics, flow cytometry, genomics, proteomics, liquid handling, sample preparation, chromatography and precision flow control.
