The Type 730 is part of Chemline’s 700 series of diaphragm valves. This pneumatically actuated diaphragm valve has a plastic diaphragm actuator which can be either normally closed, normally open or double acting. The valve offers high pressure resistances, long cycling life, and a size range ½ in to 4 in. The Teflon diaphragm gives the valve corrosion resistance superior to ball or butterfly valves and makes it available for sanitary or slurry applications. When a positioner is added, it can become an economical control valve. The 700 series from Chemline features interchangeable bodies, diaphragms and actuators. Modular construction minimizes spare parts requirements, and all major parts are solid plastic, making them corrosion resistant and light weight to minimize stress on plastic piping.
