DERVOS VALVES has recently declared that after almost a year and a half’s technical discussions and rigorous customer on-site visits, they finally received an order for a DN3750, PN16 welded butterfly valve. The project is special since the operation of valves of this size are usually actuated instead of manual. The DN3750 valve will be operated manually by a total of four gearboxes! Currently, the 58 tons weight, 82.4 CBM valve is completed and ready for shipment. It has passed UT, RT, DP tests and all the gearboxes have passed the IP68 Submergence Test for 48 hours, proving the company’s ability for manufacturing large size butterfly valves.
