Double block-and-bleed valves replace multiples

Swagelok Company introduces Kenmac series double block-and-bleed valves to provide a smooth transition from process to instrumentation systems in a single, configurable and compact valve assembly. Each one-piece forged body incorporates a primary isolation valve and a variety of secondary block-and-bleed valves to replace conventional multiple valve installations. Benefits, compared to conventional systems, include fewer leak points, reduced size and weight and flexibility to configure the product using different sized ball and needle valves and flanges. The new Swagelok block-and-bleed valves offer an efficient process to instrumentation interface, primarily for use in the chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas industries to measure pressure, flow and temperature. Available in sizes from 0.5 to 2 in., flanged connections are manufactured according to ASME 16.5 RF and RTJ. The valve is rated to temperatures from -50 to 400 degrees F; pressure ratings are in accordance with ASME B16.34, 150 lb to 2500 lb class.
