Drehmo GmbH received an order for supplying electric valve actuators for the Shoaiba oil fired power plant in Saudi Arabia of the Saudi Electricity Company. Currently the first 3 units, also using Drehmo actuators, are under final construction. The units 4 & 5 are expected to begin operation at the end of 2003. Alstom Power has selected smart type MATIC C Drehmo actuators as well. The actuators are specifically designed to be linked to ALSTOM´s DCS system. Drehmo actuators are used in the boiler & BOP & turbine package for ON-OFF, INCHING and MODULATING application for butterfly, globe, gate valves and dampers.
