Dresser has expanded its operations in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new valve manufacturing plant and repair facility. The newly expanded facility is owned and operated by Darvico (a joint venture between Dresser and the Al Rushaid Group. Darvico is currently the only approved control valve and safety relief valve manufacturer in Saudi Arabia. The new facility expands Darvico’s ability to provide conventional and severe service valve technologies to Saudi Arabia’s process industry leaders, including Aramco and the Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (Sabic). Darvico has nearly 50,000sq/ft of workspace outfitted with sophisticated valve manufacturing and repair equipment including computerised valve testing machinery and machining equipment.
