It involves the introduction of best practices throughout the company. A key element of Operational Excellence is the Manufacturing Excellence programme. Within the framework of manufacturing excellence, DSM is developing global standards. The DSM technology experts of the global discipline team working on technical standards in the field of instrumentation have chosen CONVAL® as the preferred software tool for sizing, calculation and optimisation of valves. They have developed a standard how to size control valves supported by CONVAL®. DSM and FIRST are working together to extend the co-operation to other applications.
