Durapipe UK has secured a contract to supply valves to mobile water treatment company Ecolutia Services.
Ecolutia Services provides mobile water treatment equipment for a wide range of water treatment applications. The company has recently developed three new de-mineralisation units for the production of hydro pure water.
The new treatment units utilise a complex network of pipes and valves to transport the water through different tanks and processes, so Ecolutia required a reliable range of valves that could cater for the required isolation applications. After reviewing several valves on the market, Ecolutia selected Durapipe’s PVC-U butterfly valves.
Across the three units 25 5” valves and 36 3” valves have been installed to direct water and fluids into specific flow paths within the process.
Durapipe PVC-U allows safe transfer of chemicals without fear of corrosion during the treatment process. Also, lightweight nature of PVC-U butterfly valves helps reduce installation times due to quick and easy fitting.
