Econosto’s Ball Valves and Diaval team up

With the formalising of an agreement between Econosto’s Ball Valves UK Ltd and Diaval, a new range of valves has been launched into the UK chemical, process and petrochemical industries. Ball Valves UK, is part of the Royal Dutch Econosto Group, one of the largest manufacturers and stockists of “off the shelf” valves in the world. Designed as a directly comparable alternative and fully interchangeable with all competitive diaphragm valves currently available in the market, Diaval developed its valves specifically to have a higher specification with a lower price structure. Of all valves the Diaphragm is one of the simpler designs and least revered yet it offers a wide range of performance, versatility and chemical resistance and as a result is the most widely used valve in the chemical industry.
The Diaval range now stocked by Ball Valves UK is available off-the-shelf in all standard sizes from 15–300mm in the weir type design and 25–250mm for the straight-through type. The weir style also makes an ideal control valve as the linear characteristics provides for 5% open gives 5% flow, 10% open, 10% flow and so on. The Diaval range employ ductile iron instead of cast iron, with the option of cast steel, stainless steels and chromium iron to suit more demanding or hostile environments.
