The Electronic Valve Tester, (EVT), is a digital computerized, hydraulic assisted device, designed to test and set safety/relief valves while in service. The EVT is portable and can be used under normal operating conditions without over pressuring the system.
The set point of spring loaded valves can be tested and certified while in service. Only those failing EVT test will require removal for repair.
Total downtime and maintenance cost will be reduced by approximately 50% for the time required for valve removal repair and installation.
EVT service eliminates the need to overpressure the system for testing.
Since EVT is calculated from simmer point, potential damage to valve seats from full flow or low capacity testing is minimized.
Electronic Valve testing certifications are provided on a computerized document for valve records.
