Emerson has extended its range of ASCO Sentronic LP (Low Power) 617 series proportional valves with the addition of 8 and 15mm port sizes (3/8 and ½ inch). Previously available in 4mm (1/4 inch) only, this valve has been designed for accurate pressure control of air and neutral gases in applications where power is limited. With this extension of the range, users can now benefit from more flexibility in port size options and flow rates.
The Sentronic LP range offers high flow performance (varying from 470 to 5200 l/min) with a hysteresis less than 1 percent, enabling stable pressure control under flowing conditions. This makes it ideally suited for applications where precise pressure control is required such as manufacturing applications in the automotive & tyre, food & beverage, and packaging industries.
The low power consumption (<4 Watt) and life expectancy of more than 50 million cycles makes it a very cost-effective solution. This valve enables a user to reduce maintenance time and downtime due to the local display that provides clear and accurate feedback of valve status.
