Fisher-Rosemount will henceforth be known as Emerson Process Management. The Singapore office, which oversees the Asia-Pacific region, will be legally named Emerson Process Management Asia-Pacific Ltd.
The company has appointed Mr Michael H. Train as president of Emerson Process Management Asia-Pacific, effective March 2002. In August 2001 Steve Pelch was appointed vice president and general manager of Fisher Controls’ Asian operations.
On 21 May 2002 the company opened the Emerson Process Management Dynamic Performance Loop, a research and test centre for control valves and instrumentation. Located in Singapore, it is the only centre of its kind in the Far East.
