Emerson Process Management has been voted supplier of the best process management technologies in a record 28 automation categories in the 11th annual Control magazine Readers’ Choice Awards. Control readers cited numerous Emerson technologies as being automation’s best, including the intelligent field components that power Emerson’s PlantWeb(R) digital plant architecture. The DeltaV(TM) digital automation system, another core PlantWeb component, won the process control system category. Control readers also endorsed Emerson software, voting it best in eight of 10 categories. Emerson also led the way in customer service, receiving high marks for excellence in 33 categories. Emerson’s first place technology wins include Brooks Instrument for positive displacement and variable area flowmeter, Daniel for turbine flowmeter and Fisher Controls, control valves and displacement level.
