EnerMech secures 5-year ME&I maintenance contract

EnerMech has secured a five-year contract to deliver integrated mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation (ME&I) maintenance services at Ampol’s Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Australia. The award represents a significant step up in operations from its existing contract, positioning EnerMech as one of Ampol’s major ME&I service partners.

The new agreement builds on an established relationship, following three years of successful service delivery at the site. Under the expanded scope, EnerMech will combine its existing electrical and instrumentation services with mechanical services – including scaffolding and rope access – to provide a comprehensive ME&I maintenance solution across routine operations and future shutdowns, supporting safe, reliable, and efficient refinery performance.

The ramp-up reflects a major increase in on-site resources, from 19 electrical personnel to a multi-discipline team of 50 personnel.

Located in Queensland, the Lytton Refinery is one of Australia’s major remaining refining assets. Operational since 1965, it plays a critical role in the country’s fuel supply chain, producing essential petroleum products and supporting regional economic activity.
