Fasek supplies Bovanenkovo Uchta pipeline

The German-based actuator producer Fasek has announced that they have delivered the first actuators for the Bovanenkovo Uchta (North Stream) pipeline. The electro hydraulic actuators are suitable for valves up to 56in and 450,000NM. They are designed for and tested at -60C to work in the rough environmental conditions in Siberia. They will be mounted in the most critical part of the pipeline and fulfill safety requirements which will include 3 strokes from hydraulic oil storage.
